About Claritips

Claritips exists because of one frustrating gap: health advice is written for the average person, and nobody is the average person. We build the tool that answers the personal version of the question - a 60-second daily check-in that, after two weeks, shows you what actually moves your sleep, energy and mood, as arithmetic you can check by hand.

WHY NO AI - AS A PROMISE, NOT A GAP
Every insight in the app is an average or a comparison of your own entries, with the sample size printed next to it. Nothing is inferred, predicted, or "personalized by a model." We think trust in a health tool comes from being checkable - so we only show numbers you could recompute with a calculator.

How the Pattern Library is written

Direct answer in the first 100 words - every guide opens with the honest short version, before the depth. If you stop reading there, you still leave with the answer.
Every claim cited to named research - peer-reviewed sources listed at the bottom of every guide, with authors, journal and year - not “studies show.”
Updated dates that mean something - the date on a page is the last time a human re-checked it against its sources, not a freshness trick.
Human-written, no AI filler - the same no-AI stance as the app. Nothing on this site is generated to fill space.
“Test it on yourself” over “trust us” - every guide ends with a way to verify the claim on your own data - because averages are where you start, not where you finish.

Who writes it

Guides are researched and written by the Claritips team - the same people who build the app's statistics engine - and each sleep or physiology guide is reviewed against its cited sources before publishing and at every update. We're translators, not clinicians: we report what peer-reviewed research says and where it's uncertain, and we route anything medical to "see a clinician." Bylines with individual author bios are coming as the team grows.

Corrections

Spot an error - a misread study, a stale number, a broken claim? Write to research@claritips.com. Confirmed corrections ship within a week, with a dated note on the page. Being checkable applies to our writing, not just our math.
